What it is

The Procam Slam

The Procam Slam is an initiative by Procam International that recognises runners who complete the feature race category of all four designated Procam running events consecutively, without a break.

Procam has been building India's running calendar since 1988 — the Tata Mumbai Marathon, the Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon, the Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata and the TCS World 10K Bengaluru are all World Athletics label races. The Slam ties them into a single, year-long personal challenge.

There is no separate Slam registration and no extra Slam fee. You enter each of the four races yourself, finish each one inside its cut-off, and your cycle is tracked from the sign-in details you register with.

Sequencing

Start anywhere — then don't miss one

Your cycle can begin at any of the four events. Whichever one you start with, you must then complete the next three as they come, in calendar order, with no gaps.

Start at Kolkata

TSW25K → TMM → TCSW10K → VDHM

Start at Mumbai

TMM → TCSW10K → VDHM → TSW25K

Start at Bengaluru

TCSW10K → VDHM → TSW25K → TMM

Start at Delhi

VDHM → TSW25K → TMM → TCSW10K

Starting a Slam right now

With the Delhi Half Marathon feature race reported full for 2026, the realistic entry point for a fresh cycle is Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata on 20 December 2026 — registration is open. Your cycle would then run Kolkata (Dec 2026) → Mumbai (Jan 2027) → Bengaluru (Apr 2027) → Delhi (Oct 2027), finishing in about ten months.

The bar you have to clear

Qualifying cut-off times

Finishing isn't enough — each feature race has a time limit for Slam credit.

EventFeature raceDistanceCut-offRequired pace

Vedanta Delhi Half MarathonHalf Marathon21.097 km3:30:00≈ 9:57 /km
Tata Steel World 25K Kolkata25K25 km3:45:00≈ 9:00 /km

Paces are calculated for reference only. The 10K is the tightest of the four in pace terms — don't treat it as the easy one.

Step by step

How to enrol

There is no Procam Slam form. You enrol by entering the four races — correctly.

  1. Create one Procam registration account

Sign up once at the Procam registrations portal and use that same account for all four events. This is the most important step — the Slam is matched on your sign-in details.

    registrations.procam.in ↗
  2. Keep your details identical everywhere

Your name and date of birth must match exactly across all four entries. A middle name added in one race, or a typo in a DOB, is a common reason a cycle fails to get recognised.

  3. Register for the feature race — not a shorter one

Open 10K in Bengaluru, Half Marathon in Delhi, 25K in Kolkata, Marathon in Mumbai. The Dream Run, Majja Run, Great Delhi Run, Ananda Run and Senior Citizens' categories do not count towards a Slam.

  4. Meet each event's own criteria and pay its fee

Every race has its own rules — age limits, timing certificates or qualifying times for some categories, and its own entry fee. You pay each event separately; the Slam itself costs nothing extra.

  5. Register early — these races sell out

Entry windows close on a published date or the moment places fill, whichever comes first. Delhi's Half Marathon filled well before its stated close date. Diary the opening date and enter on day one.

  6. Run each race inside the cut-off

Collect your bib at each event's expo, run, and finish under the limit. Complete all four consecutively and your Slam is recognised automatically — results are reported roughly 8–10 weeks after a cycle completes.

How to register

  2. Choose Half Marathon — the shorter Open 10K, Great Delhi Run and Senior Citizens' Run do not count towards a Slam.
  3. Upload a qualifying timing certificate that meets the standard opposite.
  4. Pay the entry fee. Your place is not confirmed until Procam verifies the certificate — allow up to 10 working days.
  5. Collect your bib in person at the expo before race day.

Qualifying standard

Half Marathon in 3:30:00 or faster, on a certificate from an event held on or after 1 October 2024.

Certificates are accepted for 10 km, Half Marathon, 25 km and Marathon.

Reserved places

  • Women's criteria — limited places, same timing standard, first come first served.
  • Youth — aged 18–21 as of 17 Oct 2026, same timing standard.
  • Good for Silver — aged 65+ as of 17 Oct 2026, same timing standard.

Questions

FAQ

Do I have to register separately for the Procam Slam?

No. There is no separate Slam registration and no separate fee. You register for each of the four events individually and your cycle is tracked from those entries.

Can I start with any of the four races?

Yes. You may begin your cycle at any of the four events, then complete the remaining three consecutively in calendar order.

What happens if I miss one race?

The cycle breaks. The four finishes must be consecutive with no gap, so a missed edition means starting a fresh cycle from your next race.

Do shorter categories count?

No. Only the feature race of each event counts — Open 10K (Bengaluru), Half Marathon (Delhi), 25K (Kolkata) and Marathon (Mumbai).

Does the virtual race count towards a Slam?

No. Slam credit is for the on-ground feature race, timed on the day.

Why do my name and date of birth matter so much?

Your four finishes are linked by matching your registration details. Any mismatch in name or DOB across the four entries can leave your cycle unrecognised, so use one account throughout.

When are Slam finishers announced?

Results are typically reported 8–10 weeks after a cycle completes, with the finisher list published within about 30 days. Queries are generally accepted within 30 days of completion.

Is there an age limit?

You must be 18 or over. Prize money is awarded across age categories from 18 up to 70+.

I live outside India — can I still do it?

You can run all four races, but Procam Slam rewards and services are stated to be for runners residing in India.

How hard is it, really?

The cut-offs are generous for a fit recreational runner — roughly 9–10 min/km for the longer races. The difficulty is consistency: staying injury-free and getting an entry into four sell-out races inside one twelve-month window.
